For the first time in history, Estonia will host the most anticipated event in the world of bartending – the International Bartenders Association's 67th World Cocktail Championships, taking place this October.
The World Cocktail Championships are organised by the International Bartenders Association, a coordinating body established in 1951 to unite bartenders around the world. 2018 marks the first time this event is held in Estonia.
The event takes place at the modern Creative Hub and consists of two competition days. It will bring together over 60 classic and more than 40 flair bartenders from all over the world, who will compete for six world champion titles, 18 medals and three special prizes. In the course of the competition, at least 120 cocktails will be mixed, for which the bartenders will use the products of at least 30 brands – over 400 different drinks in total.
Visitors to the event will get a great overview of the art of cocktail-making, which forms an inseparable part of food and drink culture. This means consuming alcohol in sensible amounts so as to enjoy exciting, high-quality taste experiences. All guests can visit special IBA sponsor areas and get to know about the newest trends in the cocktail world. The IBA's World Cocktail Championships will take place at the Tallinn Creative Hub from 3-4 October 2018. You must be at least 18 to attend the event.
