The band was formed in Helsinki, Finland where the three improvisers first met and thus Maisemat, which means ‘Landscapes’ in Finnish, was born. The three travelers have joined forces to present a program of new original music composed by the members of the band. The original compositions have received international attention for their uniquely captivating and nature. Each piece is designed to guide the listener on a journey through the human condition, stopping at the depths of despair and culminating in the peak of euphoria. Their original approach to storytelling has already led to to performances in Italy, Finland, and Estonia.
